There have been one or two excellent posts on mucuna pruriens during the past several weeks. Go to the 'directory' on this site and look for 'Allnatural' who has been using an MP product called Zandopa with much success during the trial period. Also, research the Internet for instances of PwP who use MP together with sinemet or Madopar.

I tried it from swansons recommended dose on bottle.no changes.

howard lefke who recoverednaturally said it only stops your body from recovering as it makes your body lazy to procuce dopamine. If you try to put right the things that will helpdopamine...ie detoxing, getting your adrenaline and serotonin balanced ...eating healthily...no gluten, sugar, meats.coffee.etc..and do gigong to help balance your system..then you give yourself achance. Dont think pd think well! Its what im trying,,,with diet lapses for xmas!good luck.

This is Allnatural - who Norton is referring to. The mucuna for me replaced all of the Sinemet except of 1/2 of 25/100 Sinemet at each dose ( 3x a day for me ). I think I need the carbidopa part. I don't know about it making my body lazy to produce dopamine - hope not - but I also do everything mentioned by hillarypeta - detox, qi gong, swimming and staying away from all the bad food stuff mentioned. Absolutely agree w/ treating and balancing the whole system not just the one illness. Everything is connected. Without detoxing, your body doesn't take in the nutrition or the supplements. A wonderful hopeful healthy positive 2013 to all!!! May we all just FEEL better please!!

How much Mucuna in each dose do you take (or took when you started 4 years ago). Also, which brand? Liquid or capsule? Today is 8/24/16.
