Does anyone have problems with oily skin?

I used to have normal to dry skin on my face and now it is very oily. What have you used to help alleviate this problem?

It's the weekend---make it a great one. :-)

Hugs, Terri

My husband has this problem also. He also has flaky skin on his forehead. Have you tried an astringent?

I also have the oily scalp, flaky skinned forehead that is common in Parkinson's. My wife got me a plastic mesh,(moderately abrasive) shower sponge which works well for taking off the loose skin.

Enjoy the weekend,,,,

Hi

Canesten cream (available on prescription) for the flaky skin, together with Vosene Medicated shampoo (be sure you pick up the medicated one - available in Tesco's, but I have not seen it anywhere else lately)

These work well together, and have also reduced the tramlines on my forehead.

Gp Reccommended us to use head and shoulders , thought it would be toostrong for sensitive skin . Very good

Don't think you will ever cure it , just keep using the shampoo it helps keep it away , even helped my husbands itchy scaly ears .and eyebrows
