I"m having problems with my ears "closing up", like I am in an airplane. Neurologist says it is allergies, but it comes and goes too quickly to be allergies. Anyone have the same problem?

Problems with ears
My ears have been a problem since I was a child. According to MD's, adults are not suppose to have ear infections, I get them all of the time. The last one took weeks to get rid of with both oral and topical antibiotics and was pretty much completely closed.
I do have allergies and asthma, but have had more infections in the time period I have been diagnosed with PD. Not sure of any correlation. I was surprised to see the number of times when I was reviewing my medical records for my upcoming disability hearing. I also have a lot of ringing in my ears that did become better after starting on Azilect. I had not realized how constant it was until it was gone. Still happens some, but not very often.
Hope you find a solution, Susie
Thanks Susie01. Praying you disability hearing goes well!
I haven't had as bad a problem since (a) I started getting flu shot every year and (b) I heeded my therapist's advice NEVER to sniff, always to blow. Sounds trivial but has made all the difference. Still need to remind myself to gargle not so easy with PD. good luck!
