Off topic: Went to dinner the other night with friends when dessert came her husband

asked the server, if she wanted half his dessert...Why would a man ask a server if she wanted to share his dessert? Any comments on the subject?

Maybe he wanted to be sure the food was handled correctly in the kitchen, and thought only the server would know if it was not.

On the other hand, checking out the waitress makes more sense, LOL...
