Morning coughing and gagging?

I often wake up up in the morning, with an empty stomach, and start coughing, (I do also have severe allergies), but I feel like I am gong to vomit. Like dry heaves. Anyone out there have this?

I had it for years but now only once in a while. I used to sit on the toilet with a bucket because that's when it would happen to me. Sorry I can't help you but just know you are not the only one with stomach prelims from pd.good luck

I USE THICK & EASY for thickening my fruit juices as i have some ;problesm iwht myh swallowign too

I had this for several months after my diagnosis. Now, only once in a while. I hope this will subside for you and soon!

I use a nasal lavage system called Neil Med every am. I add a couple of drops of cider vinegar and warm distilled water and prepackaged powder mix. Sometimes add a xylitol nasal spray as well. This has been a godsend for that postnasal gunk.
