Does anyone sleep with a wedge pillow I don't know if the coughing is from GERD or from Parkinson's but I am considering purchasing a 30 degree wedge and just want to be able to order the right thing for my husband

Hi, I have Parkinson's and GERD and use a wedge pillow. I coughed all night for years until I saw the right doctor. The pillow helped tremendously and the coughing has stopped. It takes some time to get used to sleeping with it. So,don't give up. I am also careful about what I eat..No tea at night or chocolate and no tomatoes for dinner. Only decaf coffee. Good luck!

just got the wedge delivered tonight, so will try it

tomorrow. I hear they can be uncomfortable. I want to lay down on it myself to see how it feels. Do u put an additional pillow on it?

Yes I do. It is more comfortable that way.

Have you tried raising the head of the bed

no, just too many other things going on. this seemed easier in the long run

When I raised the head of the bed, I would slide down plus my husband didn't like it.

My 20 yr old son suffered with nighttime cough for years. Took lots of meds in desperate attempts to stop cough. Got the wedge 2 yrs ago. Swears by it! I do too! He uses it at college too!
