I was never one for naps and I could sleep 12 hours a nite every nite. Now I fall asleep everywhere (waiting room at drs., in dentist char, etc.). I usually doze off about 3-4 in afternoon for a bit. Last nite was the 3rd time in the last year I slept through the nite; slept until 6:30 - what a great surprise!

I don't sleep well at night either...I think it is the meds I take for PD...I nod off all day!!!

Me too but I tell whom I am with that if they really had somethings to say I would stay wake

I could sleep all day and night but I blame it on my medicine. Pramipexole and several other meds I am on says cause drowsiness.

Yes my husband can drop off to sleep anytime think its the medication he takes. He had to stop driving as he once fell asleep whilst driving he also fell asleep once whilst at the dentist who was drilling his tooth at the time he actually bit the dentist .

Hubby can fall asleep anytime- anywhere. Not sure it is the meds or the PD as he was doing this well before he was diagnosed and started on meds. Our neuro says daytime drowsiness and fatigue is from the PD.

While taking part in a PD Clinical Trial, with a group of 12 PWP, I fell asleep. One of the leaders was the Assoc Director of the of the Univ PD Center. I couldn't ask for a better witness. My meds were adjusted and problem solved, for the time being.
