Has anyone had any success with anything prescribed by Dr. George? I heard about him in a Parkinson's related facebook group. He swears he can cure Parkinson's!

I've never heard of him, but if he swears he can cure Parkinson's then that's all I need to know about him. He's a fraud.

Interested in PD… if a cure costs $200, that seems very reasonable to me😅

I don't do facebook. Can you enlighten us?

Sure. He is from West Africa (I think)? He says that in a few short days he can prepare an herbal concoction that will be a permanent cure for a Parkinson’s! He said he has done it before! He said that unfortunately, the one person who he cured of Parkinson’s died in a car accident. (Quite convenient!) I’m sorry if that sounds rude but I’m well, I’m sure you know!

ByeBye,

I see you just joined this forum. Spend a few weeks reading post and comments. Lots of good info here.

best to you.

PS. Do not believe anyone who says they have a cure for PD.

So the operation was a success but the patient died.

Just reminded me of a joke we could compose, about having a successful heart transplant and the day after you get home you run over by a bus... hate when that happens.

DO NOT DO IT! This appears to be yet another message from an herbalist that reeks of fraud, this time from Herbal Home, Nigeria, promoting Fatiluxury herbal mixtures for almost every dreadful disease! 🥲

People like this appeal to folks who are desperate and vulnerable and feeling very hopeless and tortured and endlessly exhausted sometimes... If you are among those folks, desperation tends to make you vulnerable to predators. While most likely the product won't work, it is also possible sometimes that the product may be toxic, harmful in other ways, and maybe even disastrously so. It really takes some fortitude to weigh the pros and the cons.

But in a situation like this, one claim by somebody you don't know who is continents away, claiming a cure based on a single claimed outcome, completely unverifiable, is most likely to be irresponsible and very much in the fraudulent predator arena/territory. Most things have to be verifiable and repeated many many times, and verified to be the cause of the actual claimed effect. And all of those verifications and clarifications take time, a lot of time and a lot of people doing a lot of trials, all verifiable or creditable. Sometimes an individual practitioner does stumble into something... But these are so extremely rare that really what they claim was never really a solution available to anybody at all. But they will appeal to your need for magical thinking, denial, etc., because you were desperate. They take advantage and induce you into a state that you are ready to get into anyway, which is to be no more capable of evaluating the truth and protecting yourself than an infant. And there's a reason they do that, and it's not because they have the goods.

.

The worst of these people not only just want your money and nothing else, care nothing for you or if you come to harm, but probably wouldn't mind if you come to harm or die so that you cannot complain to local authorities, even if a situation well known that complaining to local authorities would never help. Think of people who intentionally dope hard the drugs they sell with poisons and excessive amounts of things that will kill you in the process of giving you your high or relief. They know that's what they're doing.

.

.

Nigeria is very well known as one of the nations (along with India and a few Eastern European countries) where the very worst of scammers hide and operate with impunity. It's important to realize that this kind of thing probably never was a solution, so you should not feel guilt or any tug on you about passing it up... if you choose to pass it up, that's probably always the best thing to do, you are virtually never risking missing a good thing, and maybe on occasion avoiding a terrible poison.
