LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone (Parkinson's)

Diagnosed in November 2020 with Parkinson's and still in Stage 1 with mild symptoms. Some of my husband's family was dealing with cancer and tried an off-lable drug called LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone. It helped them with their cancer symptoms. I tried it because I had read that it can help with P.D. This drug is used for those who are detoxing off of Opiod's and alcohol. In low doses it almost completely takes all my inflammation pain away. It's not a cure for Parkinson's disease but is helping me immensely with inflammation in my hand and fingers. Which is huge for me. I had to have a Natural Path prescribe it and obtain it from my local compounding pharmacy because big pharma doesn't sell it. In fact, my doctors weren't aware of how it has helped. I take it in low doses and it works in about a minute for me. For reducing pain and inflammation it's great. With the carbidopa, levodopa and amantadine I take together with LDN it has been a good change for the last year as it gives almost total free range of movement in my hand again. I hope my story can help someone else suffering with this disease as we all wait for a cure.

Thank you for sharing. There are books written about LDN and its multi-therapeutic actions. See amazon.com/LDN-Book-Little-...

Jurals, may I ask what dose of LDN you are taking and how frequent you take it? Do your inflammatory pain come back when you stop taking the LDN? Also any adverse side effects from taking the LDN so far? Thank you for sharing again.
