I found an article on a noninvasive procedure called focused ultrasound. The article states it is working with tremor dominate PD & essential tremors. I am going to look into it. Just wondering if anyone has tried it or has heard anything about it?

Keywords for your search terms:
FUS stands for "focused ultrasound." It is like the surgeons scalpel, the tool.
The procedure they often use with that tool are ablations and the thing that is concerned with PD is called PTT, which stands for Palidothalamic Tractotomy (PTT).
Thank you
PTT is currently only available at a clinic in Switzerland, not covered by US insurance companies or Medicare. There are two FUS procedures currently available in the US for Parkinson’s: pallidotomy and thalamotomy. The one you are referring to for tremor is the thalamotomy which is specifically for tremor.

Do you post these calls on youtube for those of us on the other side of the globe?
No, we don't record and post. I would think that would stifle conversation.
