I relate my story that it may be of service. Mingtong is pictured above.
Background:
Early in 2017 my Parkinson's was progressing at a distressing rate. Two and a half years after diagnosis, I was taking Sinemet 50/200 CR 3x/day and my left arm was twitchy, restless and uncomfortable. I was aware of Bianca Mollé’s story – complete recovery via Qigong. I did some research and found videos of a number of other people with Parkinson's who had received benefit from practicing Qigong. So I signed up for a 3 week retreat in Santa Fe with Mingtong and his group.
What Happened:
Two nights before arriving at the retreat, I was awakened in the wee hours of the morning by intensely pleasurable Chi (also spelled Qi). It went on for several hours, and I was more than happy to lie there and marinate in the Chi. The Qigong prescription for healing is three hours of practice daily. I was wondering how I was going to be able to do this and that answered the question. These experiences continued early every morning for the duration of the retreat, and continues to the present day. I am able to sit for 2-3 hours in practice, typically in the wee hours of the morning. When my mind gets restless and starts thinking of doing something else – I ask myself - “Why do something else? – This feels good and is healing you”.
Practice:
Qigong offers a variety of different practices. Mingtong says to pick the practice that you feel most drawn to and do that. For me that was the La-Chi practice initially. Since then I have added the more elaborate Lift Chi Up Pour Chi Down practice to increase the Chi, but mostly I just sit and open to it. La-Chi can be done over any Chakra, or any part of the body for that matter. If you want to heal another, you can visualize that person, or their ailing part, inside the energy ball. La-Chi can be done sitting, standing, or lying down. La-Chi video: youtube.com/watch?v=m4JcTVd...
Healings:
After the first week of the retreat I reduced my Sinemet to one 50/200 dose before bed, and over all have felt better than when I was taking 3 times that amount. [Update Dec. 2021: My total daily dosage varies between 250 – 300 milligrams of levodopa daily]. My left arm has tremor sometimes, but not the restless discomfort I had experienced before. I did experiment with no Sinemet at all. I found that the day/night sleep reversal that had required me to use it in the first place was no longer happening. However, without any Sinemet I found my tremor became annoying. Also, upon reducing my dose I rediscovered a tendency to drag my left foot as when I was first diagnosed before starting Sinemet. I had to pay attention to keep my toes pointed up when I stepped. Since then this tendency has diminished. Also, in spite of the prior high dosage I had a muscle spasm problem in my left arm which arose when I tried to do chin-ups. That problem has diminished also and I can do chin ups now. Other than that I have a bit of muscle stiffness, my left toes tighten up sometimes, and the ongoing dry mouth / low saliva production . I am keeping the faith and continuing the practice.
A friend of mine was experiencing a disabling age-related condition caused by loosening connective tissue. During practice I visualized the affected parts tightening up and resuming their proper position, as well as sending healing energy. I did this regularly over the course of several weeks, 10-20 minutes at a time. This helped her quite a bit. Since then I have facilitated other healings. (No guarantee of success, however.)
Why me?
These results are off the charts. Reduction of needed Sinemet dosage by 2/3 after a week of Qigong? Suddenly acquiring healing ability? I am not aware of any other such story. Did I suddenly win a cosmic lottery? Not exactly. I have suffered and overcome other painful and potentially disabling conditions in recent years. I have been praying, with great sincerity, for years, to be able to heal myself and others of any condition - asking for this even though the idea seemed completely outlandish and impossible. Mingtong says when you have dedication and clarity of intent, the universe will come to meet you halfway. I have found the key to receiving the Chi to align with Source, which means to embrace dedication to the highest good for all.
This is what has transpired so far - never a dull moment! Questions welcome.
Qigong with Mingtong:
For more about Qigong and Mingtong go to chicenter.com . All teachings are available over the internet at very reasonable prices. Retreats are pricey.
This is fascinating. Please keep giving us progress reports. I've always believed in the power of thoughts. Think about having a headache and sure enough you will get one....why can't the reverse be true?
Thank you so much, Park_Bear, for telling us about your experience. This is invaluable since there are so many claims of healing PD through a variety of techniques, and not much report from patients.
I was considering a stay in Santa Fe, but I have a real question here : what if, like me, one does not buy much into chakras, cosmic energy, power of thought, quantum healing etc. Would you say it would still be worth having a retreat there ? What do you think ?
Thanks for your kind words, and for pointing out the error in the link, which I have now fixed.
I would say if you are able to put the skeptical mind on hold, and entertain the possibility that Chi energy is a thing, and enter into the practices in that spirit, then it is possible to benefit. FWIW Mingtong is fond of pointing out that only 4% of the universe is known matter/energy and the rest is dark matter and dark energy and we really don't know what these things are.
I have a question for you. You say that La-Chi can be practiced over any chakra. Do you personally collect the energy ball in front of your body and then move it to your head, or do you do the La-Chi hand movements directly around your head? Since PD is a brain disease, the head seems to be the correct target for the energy. Thanks.
I do the hand movements around my head. However, if initially I am feeling the energy mostly, say at my heart, I may start there and then move up.
Also, until recently I was just using Chi without adding visualization. I tried adding love and light and that exacerbated my symptoms [Edit - 4 years later not sure about that - problem may have been too much energy] I realized PD is a problem of waste disposal, and started using the concept of drainage on the outward motion of my hands, and symptoms reverted to my current "normal". MIngtong emphasized it is important to also be sending loving kindness, which I do on the inward motion.
To help with the drainage visualization I use the images shown at the following link, imagining neurons transitioning from the image of the unhealthy cell to the healthy cell: directorsblog.nih.gov/2013/...
Many thanks for that. I probably will not use that sick cell/healthycell visualization since according to the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI), I do not have the LRKK2 mutation, and thus "garbage disposal" by my neurons is presumably okay.
By all means do as you see fit. That said, in PD due to any cause, the cellular landscape is littered with Lewy bodies - clumps of used alpha synuclein that the body has been unable to properly recycle. So hopefully the visualization applies to all varieties of PD.
I am surprised and stumped that love and light visualization made things worse. I need to try something else than. I coincidentally am presently reading Bianca Molles book.
I need to revise that comment, and will do so. In light of my experience since writing that, I believe what can cause problems is adding too much energy, and not doing drainage.
As I said, in my experience, sending too much energy to the brain worsens symptoms. Otherwise, I have not found any limit as to how much energy the rest of the body can tolerate.
Good question – shows you are serious about the practice.
Direct the Chi with your intention and attention. Mingtong says "where the mind goes the energy flows". In addition you can also do LaChi with hands on either side of the head.
Thanks for sharing. Please keep us updated on your progress. I've been practicing qi gong for a while now and recovered my sense of smell. Still waiting for impact on other symptoms.
Thank you for your post, park_bear. I will work with envisioning this healing ball of energy and see what happens. Twenty years ago (long before I had any PD symptoms) when I was working an extremely stressful job, I did something somewhat similar every morning on the train on my way to work. I would sit and meditate on a golden ball of light, love, and energy gently expanding inside my chest. By the time I got to work, I was very relaxed and had stored up a great deal of emotional resilience for the day. I think it was one of only a couple of things that helped me survive that job. So, why didn't I continue with the meditation? Good question.
Hello! So glad to hear other reports of people working with Qigong. I was diagnosed this year (self-diagnosed early 2017, confirmed by neurologist in October). I have been working with Qigong (videos of Mingtong, Lee Holden, and others, plus a very good local instructor) -- and also pursuing Dr. Janice Walton-Hadlock's Parkinson's Recovery Project modality.
Hi, this is how I started. I have Mingtongs exercise video and CDs of meditation. I also went into partial recovery after reading dr. Janice's work. Sadly to say I could not get a full recovery. But kudos to you.
Hiya. Pleased to meet you. Are you familiar with Dr. Janice's new book, Stuck on Pause? So far she has released 22 chapters of it. pdrecovery.org/stuck-on-pause/
Hi are you still following dr. Janice's protocol can you please mention a bit about the modalities I have been reading her e.book and intend to re-start--- pl help
Hi, for about 6 weeks I felt really great, then it kind of wore off. So now I think it must have been a placebo effect. I was really, really hoping. it's been awhile, I have not been thinking about it and I don't remember as much as I should. Mary
Hi are you still following Dr. Jenice's protocol kindly give an update --what are you doing ,for how long and result till date I have been reading her e.book and intend to start the process pl help with your update
I'm wishing you all the luck, I think lots of people have done it and got good results. I have been on sinemet CR for little less than a year now, so I am sorry to say I have not been doing her protocol, I have not looked at her site in a while now. I tried doing it I never got positive results. Of course she said once you are on l-dopa you should not start her program. Let me know how it works out for you. Reading her books is fascinating . Mary
Yes I am, however she said after you have started the levodopa she's not recommending doing the program and I've been on sinemet CR now for about 3 months. Before that I was on plain mucuna pruriens, then Zendopa and I tried Marty hinz protocol too . When she released her supplemental chapters I actually went into a second partial recovery. But again nothing budged. Doesn't mean that you cannot do it. Wishing you luck Mary
Hi I've read Janice's and was hopeful. But I'm also PD meds Kinson so not dare to practice her way as she said that people on meds gets psycho or death by or something doing this.
As you have indicated Hadlock only accepts patients who are not yet on dopaminergic therapy. As a result she ends up treating early-stage patients, where a bit of symptom relief can masquerade as cure, and were placebo effect can relieve symptoms.
She attributes Parkinson's to foot injury. Who has never ever sprained an ankle or stubbed a toe?
I am intensely interested in your experiences with Qi Gong and especially the chi. I have been doing Qi Gong for about two years now and like you that was the result of Bianca Mole's experience; although lately I have been wondering whether she actually was absolutely and correctly diagnosed.
I live in New Zealand and I'm retired and on a pension and I detest air travel so attending one of Ming's courses is not an option for me, so I did one three month online course and almost completed a 100 day Gong (93 days) during that online programme.
One of the things which I find seriously discouraging about QG and PD is the amount of time you have to put into QG to effect any kind of lasting benefit. I've done two hours x three days once and have felt so exhausted that I didn't practice at all for over a week. And that is the space I find myself in now. I haven't practiced for nearly three weeks this time and am setting myself yet another start date to turn over a new "practice" leaf. I have found that motivation is a huge issue for me since being diagnosed with PD. So I am hugely envious of the experience you had being spontaneously surrounded by Chi.
Setting the Chi field prior to a practice is something I have a lot of difficulty with. I have followed Ming's instructions on this to the letter, but have better results with my own visualization technology. But still not entirely satisfactory. Anyway these comments are becoming somewhat formless, so maybe I could round them off with a couple of specifics.
Firstly I am convinced that Qi Gong is a practice that is congruent with what the needs of my body currently are. I have had the odd experience of feeling totally uplifted for a very short time after completing a 20 minute practice. Although they have been brief they have been remarkable experiences, and enough to convince me that Qi Gong is one of the keys for me in battling this illness. Secondly I would like to ask you a question. If you practice two or three times a day in the same room do you have to reset the Chi field each time?
I would be extremely grateful to hear of your experiences?
Interesting you should bring up the setting of the Chi field. I do my own invocation and actually have been doing it since even before Qigong. I elevate my arms straight up and with “dedication, aspiration, supplication, I welcome in the love, the healing, the wisdom and the Chi from Source…” Followed by a list of numerous other sources, including the earth, and the Chi field of Mingtong and the Qigong lineage. If things are going well I feel the Chi fill my body during the course of the invocation.
I regard the main point of Qigong is to be filled with Chi. When that is the case in the early morning I am then content to simply sit in meditation and occasionally do some of the arm movements from the lift Chi up pour Chi down (“LCUPCD”) to keep it refreshed. I say “arm movements” but the most important part of this is how the mind is interacting with the Chi during this process. The chapter on LCUPCD in this book by Dr. Pang is helpful to understand that part of it: amazon.com/gp/product/04732...
There are also online courses from Mingtong on LCUPCD that are similarly helpful.
I find being Chi filled is rejuvenating rather than tiring - five hours of sleep plus 3 hours of sitting with Chi is more refreshing than eight hours of sleep for me. As long as I am feeling the Chi I count it as practice, even if I am also doing other activities such as getting breakfast or writing this reply. I do believe it is possible to be Chi filled 24/7 and that is my goal.
As far as location goes it does not really matter. I have a place I sit in meditation in the early morning but I also experience the Chi equally out on the trail hiking, or even in front of the computer.
I welcome further discussion either here or via private message. I will send contact information by private message.
Doing your own invocation is very, very special and I am deeply impressed. I am also immensely appreciative of the insight you have given me to experiencing the chi field. You have outlined a perception of it that is much more expansive and far reaching than I gave it credit for. I can see that it is possible to be - can I say - spiritually creative - about it. This kind of flexibility may suit me. Although admittedly I like the security of being told the ABC of a process, I also like doing my own thing. Clearly you have arrived at a stage in your relationship with QG where it is part of your lifestyle. In that sense alone I'm sure that it is of immense benefit to you. Have you noticed any specific healing benefits it has had for your PD condition? I'm not asking that question from a sceptics point of view. I know in my heart and mind that Qi Gong is a healing medium. Bearing in mind that we are all different, I am keen to know where that healing is being effected in you.
Spiritually creative - Yes - Mingtong often mentions creativity. Adhering to the prescribed form also has benefits. You can do some of each.
As to healing , as I mentioned up top, I cut back my dosage of levodopa by two thirds and feeling better than before, as a result of doing Qigong.
Last night as I got into bed I realized I had neglected to take my evening dose of levodopa. Feeling lazy I did without. Ended up sleeping for for nine hours, with no sleep meds at all.
The Parkinson's battle is by no means over but it is clear to me I am receiving benefit from Qigong.
I want to start this but it feels a bit overwhelming like I’m going to mess up the process if I start off wrong. I have looked up Mingtong Gu (sorry if misspelled) and I’m reading Bianca’s book. Sometimes getting started is the hardest part for me. Can you please recommend the best starting point?
There is live online practice at no charge several times a week, available via YouTube or zoom. To get Zoom link: chicenter.com/original-chi-tv/ Via YouTube: get notifications by subscribing to Mingtong's channel
Thank you. It is fear of messing up that stops me and I think this type of anxiety (tightly wound personality) contributed to my PD rearing it’s head so young in the first place. “Let the energy be your guide”
“Feel good Chi”
I need to repeat that to myself and calm the heck down. I have been enjoying the calming affects of Qi gong but taking it to a spiritual level or feeling energy is foreign to me.
I appreciate your help very much.
I’m so wiped out from all of this.
I spoke with a therapist for the first time last week who said that “the human condition is suffering. You should not think you would have a life without suffering. And attachments cause suffering.” I’m trying to determine if that should be a helpful revelation or is just bad therapy.
I listened to a yoga practitioner who said to say hello to your pain and treat it like a friend. On one hand I feel we need to fight PD but by having the fighting spirit takes away any chance I have of peace.
I will utilize the links you sent me this week. Thank you so much
Mingtong emphasizes the importance of relaxation and I agree. I find that relaxation does not detract from my fighting spirit (some people around here might complain I have too much of it, heh heh ;-)). Relaxation helps me to be more clear about which battles to fight and how much energy to put into them. Regarding Parkinson's I find it is mostly a matter of study and nurturance. That said, fighting spirit can come into play around exercise.
Regarding the comment from your therapist – it is true as far as it goes but there is more to the story. We can let go of attachments to things being a certain way yet still strive for good outcomes. Importantly, I have discovered that happiness is a choice, and one can be happy (mostly) anyway. Spending a portion of every day abiding in divine Chi bliss helps a lot, and it helps the body.
It is not necessary to do every practice. Pick the practices that work best for you, and adapt them as necessary for your condition. See also my other reply.
Nine hours!, that is amazing. It looks like you might be able to start reducing your evening meds now too.
I take one Sinemet tab at 0700, then again at 1100, 1500 and finally @ 1800. The final dose is three hours from the one before it instead of four to avoid the evening meal at 1830. I don't take anything to help me sleep and can get a solid four hours in before waking - going to the toilet - and then sleeping for another 3 or 4 hours.
Frankly I notice nothing from taking Sinemet and I've been thinking of switching to something like Zandopa which apparently crosses the blood brain barrier more easily than Sinemet. I have had very little specific neurological guidance since diagnosis in June 2015. My own doctor is happy about trying Zandopa, but he admits that PD can present individual mysteries that baffle both sufferers and doctors.
Today. the 1st March; was my big day to reconnect with Qi Gong and I have yet to do so and it is now mid afternoon here. So no time like the present. As Ming says "Don't wait ". So I won't wait any longer.
Park Bear. Thank you so much for posting this message. It is quite timely for me. I just met a woman on Friday who has practiced Tai Chi for 20 years and is studying to be a healer. She does not know I am a PWP. But we talked at length about the energy she gets from her practice and her particular gifts. I was intrigued by what she described and was sure it would give me some benefit to practice. I practice yoga (sometimes) and also meditation. When my daughter is upset in the night, I walk her through a simple meditation that I used for birthing — it’s a “rainbow relaxation” that connects the chakras with color.
All of this is to say that I have been dancing with some of these practices and have felt their power. I am a scientist, which almost makes me more open to experimenting with things we don’t yet understand. Look at all we have learned in the past 5 years about the gut-brain connection!
Anyway, I felt like meeting this woman was...well, it was a fortunate accident. I immediately started looking into where I could take tai chi classes in my area. Then I found this connection with qigong. But there really is nowhere to learn it here. Can I really learn from the internet? Did you start with the retreat? Should I try to find a private teacher or am I better studying with Mingtong online?
I have the means to attend a retreat, and that is really compelling — especially to spend three weeks in the beautiful air of New Mexico. But I also have 7-year old daughter. It’s not reasonable for me to leave her for so long. Not yet anyway. I’ve only been diagnosed for 3 months.
Do you drink alcohol? Are you a vegetarian? If so, do you find those things are important to your clarity?
The online courses offered by the ChiCenter are excellent. However, I found it was necessary for me to attend a retreat in order to properly get started. The ChiCenter is offering a family retreat coming up shortly: chicenter-familyretreatregi...
Mingtong is very accessible at the retreats and I found a personal connection with him to be inspiring. I am sure there are other good Qigong teachers but I have not experienced them.
I do not drink alcohol. Alcohol never interested me very much. When I tried some a while back I thought it aggravated my symptoms.
I am not a vegetarian, but I do not eat a lot of meat. Empty stomach or full stomach does not seem to make any difference to the flow of Chi.
My training is physics and engineering. Mingtong likes to point out that 95% of the mass-energy of the universe is dark matter and dark energy, and we do not know what those things are. 95% is far from a rounding error!
I continue to practice Qigong as well as take high-dose thiamine and other supplements. I would rate my condition as roughly stable - my dosage of levodopa in the form of Sinemet CR has ranged from 100 - 200 mg per day since starting Qigong, versus 600 mg before Qigong. So I cannot claim a cure, but I do seem to have a sustained improvement.
Hi park_bear, how are you going with WHQ now? I tried to do it for up to 3 hours perday nearly everyday for almost 2 years. Not sure I did it right or is it where I did it or stress while doing it,but I only felt little relief on some non motor symptoms, but my motor symptoms kept progressing so I started taking low dose Kinson (L/C).
Any suggestion please?
Also, Do you practice at home with computer? would there be radiation emiting from it and we collect that as Qi? or collecting wrong Qi?
If I am learning something new I use my computer to receive teachings, but I do almost all my practice away from the computer. In my experience, Chi feels tingly and pleasurable – not something likely to be confused with computer-generated electromagnetic radiation. The way you can tell if practice is working is experiencing these feelings in your body. Once the Chi is present I direct it to the area needing healing. Mingtong emphasizes using the intention of lovingkindness. I have found that for healing Parkinson's brain the intention of drainage is also important. I cannot claim a complete cure. I too take carbidopa levodopa.
What practices are you doing? Which teachings do you access on your computer?
HEY PARK sorry I fell off the screen this MSA/ PSP kicks my ass and there are days when I can't seem to do anything but yes I am really enjoying the meditation and the exercise when it is possible...what do you think of Retrotope? R001 is the next thing out there for me and i am thinking that it is going to be my best hope...Jbovert
Looks like their treatment is intended to prevent lipid peroxidation damage. Not clear to me this is what is needed for MSA/ PSP. In any case this is a drug under development – they have only done one phase 1 study so far. So it will not be available in the clinic for many years.
OK Now Im not saying that it will be available to the gen population but it will be availabke to people like me in the trial which is going to happen Im thinking sometime thisthis spring.....so that is what Iam praying for....I Just need to
have these prayers come true....there is not going to be a "placebo' in this study...casuse the efficasy has already been
established so thats what I understand so far......
"Two nights before arriving at the retreat, I was awakened in the wee hours of the morning by intensely pleasurable Chi (also spelled Qi). It went on for several hours, and I was more than happy to lie there and marinate in the Chi."
Did you know how to collect Chi or practice some qigong even before learning wisdom qigong?
My current levodopa recipe is 2 1/2 doses of 25/100 C/L ER daily for a total of 250 milligrams of levodopa.
I get up around 3 AM and practice till dawn. I have been doing that consistently over the last four years. My main practice is Chi meditation - sitting with the energy and directing it where needed for healing of myself and others. I believe the key ingredient for Divine blessing is devotion to the highest good for all.
I see that I did not write my dosage clearly - what I meant to say was 2 and 1/2 doses daily - one 25/100 morning and evening, and half that at midday.
To get the Chi started I have mostly been doing my own invocation: I elevate my arms straight up and with “love, compassion, gratitude, dedication and generosity, I welcome in the love, the healing, the wisdom and the Chi from Source…” Followed by a list of numerous other sources, including the Chi field of Mingtong and the Qigong lineage, and the earth. If things are going well I feel the Chi fill my body during the course of the invocation.
Recently I have also been doing something that more closely resembles Mingtong's setting of the Chi field - I imagine extending my aura outward quite some distance, connecting with divine Chi. As part of either of these practices I open up my crown chakra and allow that Chi to enter. Also sometimes I do Lift Chi Up Pour Chi Down which invokes the Chi quite effectively.
As Mingtong says, "energy flows where the mind goes". Once the Chi is activated I focus my attention on where I want it to go and that seems to work – that can be any part of my or someone else's body, including the brain. I will look up anatomical structures on occasions when it is important for me to know. I do not attempt to imagine anything other than actual anatomic structures.
If a major healing is needed I will focus strictly on that healing. Sometimes my practice is just about sending love to various places in which case I sometimes do several simultaneously. Healing is not guaranteed - it does not always work – I still do have Parkinson's, although it has not progressed since I started Qigong. On the other hand there have been a few dramatic healings.
Thanks so much. I'm a little overwhelmed at this point. Everytime I try to relax the Tremors starts in my right arm. Want to try to meditate I'm unable to relax any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
“This feels good and is healing you.” That touched my heart and I needed to hear it. I am going to incorporate that message in to my mindfulness practice.
PB, your story of healing is such a gift to us. And it is selfless and brave of you to come forward and share it.
I feel for those who do not believe healing is possible because without at least embracing the possibility, they will never be able to manifest it.
My personal experience with qigong is limited but I would like to share a little something.
I grew up in Marin County California. It was the land of hippies , yoga before it was cool, raw food, earthing, spiritual retreats and cleanses. I wanted absolutely nothing to do with this “woo woo craziness” and “hippy dippy stuff.”
But now, decades later, my parents friends who have always been the “woo woo” sort (I say that with love) are the ones living a disproportionately peaceful healthy existence whereas the friends who shunned all that are generally bitter and unwell. My parents are in the latter category unfortunately.
Now that I’m in my mid 40’s I see the same happening amongst my age peers. Those who seek out a spiritual practice and prioritize self care and connection are all doing well. Those who are not, are predominantly stressed, depressed, and getting diagnosed with ailments and conditions.
Bianca Mole and Jonathan Grey are both from Marin. (The Buck Center is in Marin as well.).
Had I embraced the lifestyle of restorative self care and mindfulness early on I think I would have escaped from PD manifesting altogether or at least delayed it considerably.
I have difficulty meditating and trying these different programs due to tremors. Any suggestion on how to stop the tremors and benefit from these things? Sounds like you're having a good success. Wishing you the best.
Adapt the practice to suit your physical condition. One person with Lyme disease was initially only able to visualize doing the practices while lying down, and received benefit anyway.
Keep in mind that the purpose of all the practices is to cultivate the Divine Energy, the Chi. Once the Chi is present it is sufficient to sit in meditation and direct the energy as appropriate for healing. The most important personal quality needed to cultivate the Chi is universal love and compassion for all of us brave souls who have signed up for Earth school.
Very interesting to hear your Qigong experience. I notice the update was given as 2021. Can you give me a recent update. Is it still working for you and how often and how much do you practice?
Yes, 9 years post diagnosis still taking a beginning dosage of levodopa. I practice daily from 3:00 to 5:00 a.m. and also in the afternoon. It's Divine Bliss, so I would do it anyway Parkinson's or not.
My regimen also includes a couple of supplements. Implement the thiamine and the cinnamon one at a time and see how one works before proceeding with the other:
• High-dose thiamine. Dosing instructions and other information at the links. Allow four months for full effect:
In Wisdom Healing Qigong there is not one single practice but several different practices. Mostly I just abide in Chi meditation. I do La Chi - the practice shown in the video in the post - mostly over my heart chakra. If I need a Chi boost I do Lift Chi Up Pour Chi down.
Hi park_bear,I have a question: do you think that it is possible for one to reduce their daily dosage of levodopa using Madopar IR, Madopar dispersible, and Madopar CR only (no other dopaminergic medication is allowed).
I am trying and failing... but my Neurologist told me that he had nothing to give me.
many thanks, very kind. I will give it a try and add it to my current protocol. I’m doing lots of exercise and following a modified ketonic diet, with MCT and Ketone esters. I’ve been interested by professor cunnane’s work and the ‘Brain Energy Gap’.
