B6 levels high, can that affect meds and how they work with PD? Any one have experience with this?

But as compelling as the argument is, I can't take because it reduces the effectiveness of my C/L. I rely on my B complex to provide enough.
Double edged sword, I have been relying on my B Complex to provide enough B6, Swanson's sold out of my B Complex. I substituted another brand. I started having to take more C/L. I went into a tail spin - I feared that my PD was getting worst. park_bear recommends taking between doses of C/L. Taking between my daily doses, didn't work for me. Last night I took P5P after my first trip to use the restroom trip (plus 4 hours between C/L doses). This morning no tremor. I am going to try cutting back on my C/L today (fingers crossed).
The blood test for B6 tests for the active version of B6. High levels of the active version will do no harm. The inactive version of B6, pyridoxine, is toxic in quantity, but this is not measured by the blood test. Some doctors do not understand this distinction and will be concerned about B6 toxicity as a result of the high levels measured, but this concern is misplaced.

Park_Bear, is there a B-complex brand you recommend that has the non-toxic Bs (active P5P vs. pyridoxine)? I see Amazon sells b6 active p5p, but I was looking more for complex multi-b (b1, b2, b6, b12).
I use Seeking Health B Minus which contains 20 mg of P5P. seekinghealth.com/products/...
It lacks folate and B12. I supplement B12 separately with Seeking Health adenosylcobalamin. seekinghealth.com/products/...
I avoid folate in any form because supplementation is carcinogenic. See my writing here for details: tinyurl.com/ycdrz5lj
B6 is a regulator of inflamation and it is also depleted by inflammation. Acute inflammation is good as it speeds up healing following trauma but chronic, long term inflammation causes a huge amount of damage especially to the nerves. B6 deficiency has become more common with the proliferation of processed food (which is high in carbohydrate and low in nutrition) and vegan diets as the highest sources of B6 are meat (especially red meat) . pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articl...
How much B2 are you taking. B2 regulates B6. I also tested high in B6 but they never tested me for B2. I am testing this hypothisis to see if it stands by taking 500 mg B2
Only get B2 thru whatever I am eating... B2 was normal.
