Have recently read the book by Daphne Bryan, Parkinsons and the B1 therapy. I have been diagnosed for 2 years with Parkinsons. Have a big problem swallowing pills so I am interested in the Sublingual B1 but don't know which one is the best for this mode of entry. What is the best or most recommended product that I should buy for sublingual. Will appreciate any helpful information.
thank you

There are three brands that our people on my Facebook group use…
Superior Source microlingual B1 this is thiamine mononitrate and comes in 100 mg tablets.
EZ melts B1 this is thiamine hydrochloride and comes in 12.5 mg tablets (even though it says 25 mg on the tub!) Tastes better than superior source!
Barimelts B1 is also hydrochloride and is also 12.5 mg.
As we are finding now, that the original advice to take 100 mg x3/week is too much for some, particularly light people and women, people are cutting the Superior Source tablet in half and sometimes quarters. However the EZmelts are larger tablets, even though they are less potent, so putting two tablets to make up a 25 mg dose, is not efficient as there is a limit to how much thiamine the mucous membrane can absorb at one time.
Lots of advice on sublingual usage on the Facebook group, and articles in FEATURED on the group page.
