Hubby and I live in port Charlotte Florida. I am disabled by PD. Helene flooded our house but we and hubbys sisters cleaned up and moved back in. We fled to Orlando for Milton. House flooded again. Thanks to all the work I did to clean up after Helene I can now walk a few steps without a walker!!! Maybe Milton will cure me? Cant imagine doing all that again! May have to lose our home.

Have been following the US hurricane news from Europe, seems you didnt get much help from your government and it is nice to hear something positive. I am 7 yrs in and med free so far, I rely on exorcise mostly which involves forcing myself some days just tto walk around the block. Maybe this has shown you a new pathway to easing your symptoms. Good luck and I wish you strength going forward

to the contrary, Federal, State and NGOs response to both storms has been rapid and exemplary. This from a witness in Nokomis Fl.

Where are you getting your information from? As DrewEt stated, the federal government has been very much on top of things. It is the republicans in congress who vote against funding for emergencies and republican state governments that deny climate change (in Florida pass legislation to remove any reference to climate change) who fail the people and then demand more support and take credit for the quick response and massive amount of help that is made available to the people from the current administration.

Send you my prayers. Sometimes there are miracles and all the movement of cleaning up clears stuff in the body too! All the best
