Thank you My Friend...

While the experts work on further assessments and human trials, it would make sense for us to add lymphatic drainage exercises to the kitty.

Massage, exercise, movement are all helpful.

Sometimes I wonder what order things occur. We assume PD causes stiffness, frozen facial features etc. what if lack of movement causes stiffness, depression causes frozen face, then the rigidity is caused by fascia stiffening up due to lack of movement, then lack of movement causes build up of fluids and waste which causes damage to the brain?

Maybe true... Who knows...

I tend to agree. But i think it goes deep -- nervous system patterning. Freeze response to trauma? S. Porges.

Maybe iterative. Freeze response leads to staying in same position so much fascia stiffens up

A number of those functions are autonomic, meaning they are still active at rest (and during sleep). Glymphatic system is one of them and there are others, continually operating even if you aren't awake and moving. I doubt facial muscles freeze due to lack of use (for instance people get cosmetic botox injections to freeze facial muscles for months of time, they're basically poisoned into paralysis), though some muscles do get weaker over time without enough use, (and I think there is a disease where there isn't enough motor signal for both flexion and extension signals, systematically one is more powerful than the other and that is out of balance in favor of the one that has the more power and that's a disease in itself) and they can lose tone, but I don't think that happens to smooth muscle so much. Gross motor striated muscles, yes. And when they do, other disease processes explain it, such as those that cause wasting through myelin degradation... ie short circuiting... or autoimmune attack on nerves... But Parkinson's is sufficient in its own right because one needs enough signaling juice, electric signal like voltage (actually it is voltage), and that's exactly what lack of dopamine is for those nerves, you don't need a different disease process to explain it unless there is actual evidence for additional disease.

But the backing up of waste fluids might be a result of the freezing trapping pockets of dirty lymph fluid in stiff pockets of immobile fascia? I think that is what is behind Chinese therapies and the idea of the flow of qi which is probably the electrical currents round the body or the movement of lymph fluid?

A very stiff neck and upper back affects head drainage of sinuses and saliva glands and probably glymphatic fluid?
