‘If I had had the information from this book

at the beginning of my diagnosis, I would have

half a year of depression and a negative course of

disease progression would have been spared!’

Tom Parkinson

He was diagnosed with Parkinson's in December 2020 and

in January 2021, a DaTSCAN confirmed this diagnosis.

Although all the doctors advised him to take medication, he decided

against it and successfully embarked on a search for alternative

alternative healing methods and their application.

These approaches led to his symptoms improving in autumn

improved in autumn 2021 and have remained stable to this day.

On 29 April 2024, he only scored 20 out of a maximum of

199 points on the MDS-UPDRS scale.

Around three years earlier, on 21 July 2021, his score was 18

points. This shows that he has halted the progression of Parkinson's

disease with his methods for the time being.

His results thus clearly exceed the expectations of

conventional medicine.

In his book, he shares his experiences in an understandable way

with the alternative healing methods that he has used himself.

himself.

Tom Parkinson is of the opinion that it is a mistake to focus exclusively

to focus exclusively on one particular alternative healing method.

Instead, the human body should be considered holistically

should be considered holistically in order to achieve effective healing.

Every person is unique and therefore individual

individual weaknesses must be taken into account.

He hopes that his book will provide valuable insights for those affected and

interested parties.

congratulations on your book…

I’m not trying to be Debbie Downer here, but is the fact that you’ve been able to keep the PD at bay for a little less than four years all that uncommon? It seems this is somewhat common for those who have been recently diagnosed.

I agree.

After 3 years and half from the day of the official diagnosis, I take 400mg C/L + 50mg Opicapone and I do lot of sports.

But the symptoms started on 2017 (right arm tremors) and before I had 2 years of right arm pain (that is the effective start of PD for some people). So my PD really started on 2014.

400mg of CL after 10 years from the beginning of PD is good.

PD, as other neurodegenerative diseases, go faster after many years, like an exponential progression.

I'm on the holistic approach. Done very well without meds for 5-6 year. But years 7-8 are more of a struggle, so I'm now on a path of minimum meds. I hope you' ve found the answer but 4 years is very early for claiming to have halted progression.
