It took another person , how many others do you take everyday?

CANCER has taken another this young man was only 26years old friend of my cuzin .

Brain cancer ! This bad disease takes many. Of our fathers,mothers children ,brothers , and sister . Let's pray and donate to theiir cause also !!

Cancer is a horrid part of life, and so sad to see people we love taken and it seems nothing can be done.

I read all the time of the new treatments and the reviews and the positiveness from the charities, Cancer UK, etc.

However, not wishing to sound negative but none of my friends in the recent years have even survived the treatments for various types which makes me believe are they really any nearer to curing this dreadful curse?

I dont wish to sound negative or selfish, but when you have spent a lifetime cultivating friendship and it is taken away so violently and painfully it makes me angry.

I agree just on Monday here in the US they made a BIG announment we are close to curing breast cancer by using cancer medicine for pelvic cancer for the breast ! Is it TRUE !! We will see

I lost my dear friend my ballroom teacher last year to sarcoma. The treatments were awful. He was only 50 something. My best friend and aerobics teacher, 55, mother of 2 teens, is battling lymphoma. She lives near the World Trade Center so maybe was affected by the fumes that came off the site for MONTHS! Meanwhile I'm going to be 72, a thyroid cancer survivor with PD. Yes, I'm mad too. I do know some survivors who are doing very well. Never give up, I say!

Brother, I know where you are coming from. My sister passed from lung cancer at 48. 10 months of hell and I was there every day. Her husband could not even take her to her doctor appointments so I did. As she became worse her husband started looked for her replacement who turned out to be her close friend. Moved her in a week after she passed. She died two deaths. It was the closest I have ever come in my life to killing someone. That cancer is the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. Just a monster on the inside. But I saw another type of monster too from that experience and it was just as evil.
