A woman on FB Parkinson's Alternative Healing posted that wasp venom has made most of her symptoms go away. I am still trying to find out if she stopped her meds.

After hearing about this the other day I joined the recommended ‘Healing Lyme with Bee Venom’ fb group to learn more. Venom delivered directly from bee stings works best and their protocol involves three sessions a week of 10 bee stings along the spine.
I got stung on my thumb which is where I have the most pronounced tremors. It stopped any tremors for about 4 days to a week. I figured the effect was similar to a botox shot. Not durable though. I too will wait for the research!
I’ve been stinging with the protocol mentioned above for the past 4.5 years. I started it as treatment for Lyme and co - infections, which it completely took care off, as it did, many of the symptoms fell off. I still sting cause I still feel the benefit, although now I sting a bit less.
Bee venom is a great anti-inflammatory, and it has many other amazing properties. Someone above said they thought it may work like Botox, I think it coul be used in place of Botox.
I used to experience horrible shoulder and neck tension, it would feel like my shoulders were up to my ears, it was painful, but after stinging for sometime it took care of that. I have a friend with P who experiences the same symptom and he gets Botox. I keep telling him to try the bees….🤷🏽♀️
We also need to look at what’s causing the symptoms, Lyme was a big player for me, but not the only one. Living in moldy places was another. There are other things I’m sure.
"6. Authors’ conclusions: Based on the available experimental and clinical studies on BVT for PD, we conclude that BVT has a favorable safety profile and might be a promising adjuvant treatment for PD. Future RCTs are warranted with a larger sample size and higher dose and frequency of administration."
So... how are you doing? Any thoughts on whether BV is disease modifying?
