Have you tried taking a dose of carbidopa levodopa about a half hour before bed time? That helps me sleep more comfortably.

I know the feeling. I earn my hours of sleep by doing a deep breathing and stretching exercise routine for about 20 min before bed (and the same on waking). I'm not one for workouts and I don't like counting repeats, so my bean gauge does the counting for me. At the end of every sequence of about four stretches in various directions, I do a hip-hinge (shoulders back, straight back, feel those ham strings) and as I touch the floor, I put a bean in the bowl! It frees my mind for meditation and prayer. "In Him we live and move and have our being." I got much better and hope you do too.
