My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson's 4 years ago aged 64 and is finding walking and balance becoming increasingly difficult. My father who died aged 79 also suffered from Parkinson's
I myself may be displaying early indicators of Parkinson's having developed a very poor sense of smell around 8 years ago and slight problems with swallowing also sore shoulder but nothing too obvious yet so unsure how things will develop over the coming years.
My reason for joining this group is due to my desire to find out more about B1 Therapy and in particular medicating with sublingual Thiamine which I read about in the book by Daphne Bryan who references the work carried out by the late Dr Antonio Costantini.
It would appear to me that it may be useful for both my wife and I to try this treatment and would be interested to hear how others may have benefitted from this as it almost seems too good to be true and I want to manage my expectations at a realistic level - many thanks - Ian
