This is for GBA1-associated Parkinson’s Disease. Approximately 5% of PD patients carry a GBA1 mutation.

Increasing GCase could also be applicable for idiopathic PD as well. This why Ambroxol study will recruit idiopathic PD patients.

That said this is a mouse model so nothing is certain yet.

I was a bit disappointed that there was not more information on having any clinical trials outside Australia but I suppose it all depends on how that goes.
