Lupus and PMR

Wife has PD and Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) seems that it's getting worse and she can't find any pain medication that she can take since she has PD and takes C/LAny suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

PMR is typically treated initially with steroids like Prednisone and then tapered as other agents are introduced...methotraxate is common and even newer biologicals. Not sure why you can't get doctors to prescribe anti-inflammatory meds as these generally don't interfere with C/L.

I am sorry I should have included that she was on Celebrex and then change to meloxican.

Was on pred but she has gerds as well
