Fluoride can cause neurodegenerative diseases. Is anyone aware a study looking at people who swallow the toothpaste before or without rinsing out their mouth vs people who adequately rinse out their mouth. Should we obtain fluoride levels?
Could the use of fluoride in toothpaste account for some of the increase incidence in Parkinson’s

You should also add pubmed to the Google search. Fluoridation of water is also a concern. I have previously mixed sodium bicarbonate, xylitol, coconut oil and salt as an alternative to toothpaste
ARRGGHHH! People were arguing about Fluoridation fifty years ago. Websites for and against fluoride area all over my laptop. I have to assume the anti-fluoride groups are FOS:
The International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), which advocates against the use of added fluoride in water and products, lists the following health problems which it associates with fluoride consumption:
acne
cardiovascular problems, including high blood pressure, cardiac insufficiency, and myocardial damage
diabetes
low fertility rates and early puberty in girls
osteoarthritis, temporomandibular joint disorder, and bone cancer
immune system complications
lower IQ
cognitive deficits, attention deficity hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and neurological deficits
I have read the risks and these risks are increased in people that use too much toothpaste and/or swallow toothpaste with Fluoride, especially in children.
There is a significant body of research assessing the cognitive outcomes resulting from fluoride exposure. Since 2012, many journals have published several notable literature reviews and meta-analyses regarding fluoride and developmental neurotoxicity. A meta-analysis conducted by Choi et al. in 2012 looked at twenty-seven studies published between 1989 and 2011. This analysis concluded that increased fluoride exposure was related to a decreased IQ in children. Additionally, it was determined that children may be at an increased risk of neurotoxic outcomes from fluoride when compared to their adult counterparts. Due to limitations such as missing information, potential misclassification bias, and methodological deficiencies, this review stated that more robust data were needed to further conclude the impact that fluoride has on neurodevelopment
