Just heard about this wrist-worn wearable, approved by FDA that recently made TIME’s list of the Best Inventions of 2023. Sounds kinda similar to Cue1. Wondering if anyone here has tried, or even heard of it (search of it here turned up 0 results).
Looks to me like it's focused exclusively on reducing acting hand tremor but if that's your PD type, then maybe there's some relief potential in this.
when I wrote them starting when it first was developed and even later they said that my husband could not get it because he has Parkinson's - we thought he had essential tremor because the tremor started a long time before the other symptoms
"In this review we provide evidence that some patients diagnosed with ET have an increased risk of developing PD years or decades after onset of action tremor. "
My MDS gave me a pamphlet about it at my last visit (I'm tremor-dominant) but said that it wasn't approved for Parkinson's yet. I called the company and they said that if you have a PD diagnosis, insurance doesn't cover it yet. I think it was about $4000 without insurance.
