It’s been 5 weeks since my battery placement surgery and when I woke up this morning my battery site is puffy. The incision has healed and looks fine. No redness or fever either. I’m not sure what caused this. I called my surgeon and sent pictures and they are going to see me Monday morning. But they don’t seemed concerned too much. Has anyone had this happen? I’m terrified of infection

Seems nobody has had this problem. Let us know how it went with the surgeon appointment. Hope everything is OK for you.
I had my neurostimulator placement five months ago and my incision also healed well. I had lost a lot of weight prior to surgery, therefore, it seems to really protrude out of my upper chest and is still quite sensitive. On the positive side I have started to gain some weight so I am hoping it wont continue to be so sensitive. Definitely get yours looked at.
Unless you are diabetic, there is no reason for alarm. If you are diabetic, then if you are tightly controlled, same thing. Medical issues can be treated by effective methods these days even for patients with poor prognosis. I think it's the media hype that has us all in a tizzy 😂😭
