I’m currently doing B12 injections prescribed by my primary care doctor. Does anyone know if I can start B1 at the same time?

Like B12 I think it should be done under medical supervision.

What is the frequency and strength of the injections? What kind of B12 is in the injections? cyanocobalamin, methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin, or hydroxycobalamin

What is the best absorbed form of B12?

Methylcobalamin

Methylcobalamin is the most bio-available type of Vitamin B12 which means the body absorbs it more easily.

I’m taking cyanocobalamin. My doctor started me on 1 ml daily x4 then 1ml weekly x4 then I will go to monthly. The test she did on my bloodwork is called a METHYLMALONIC ACID study. Not sure if that has any significance to you. Thanks for your interest!

Did she say anything about MTHFR? (has to do with folic acid and folate) I hope you see great improvements. It seems like most people do have improvements from the supplementation.

I use B12 injections and added B1 for fibromyalgia. My HwP uses liquid sublingual B12 and added Dr Costantini's B1 protocol a while back.

Violet, what is your dosage?

By the way, methyl doesn't work for me. Have tried others but cyano works best. But HwP uses methyl sublingual.

Keigh - 1000mg once a week for now. Sometimes I use it twice a week if my foot starts to hurt. The foot is my signal to take it, if I've forgotten, or to take more than my usual 1000mg.
