Has anyone had a Microbiome map?

I am working with a new medico (naturopath) and awaiting the results of a complete microbiome map. Has anyone else had this done? I'm keen to see how out of whack my gut really is.

I was diagnosed with H-Pylori a couple of years ago and took antibiotics to eradicate that, but I can't say I have really noticed a difference. I was dx 13 years ago and I'm still working, so feel that I am coping very well (with the help of lots of medication).

Can I ask why you got tested for Hpylori?I've done about 3 home tests on my wife and the T shows a feint line, I'm trying to eradicate it with taking ginger tabs.

My intergrative doctor at the time suggested that the link between H-Pylori and Parkinson’s made it important to check. I had a fecal test not a breath test. My husband and 3 girls were tested too, but they were all negative

The link that I'm looking at is that Hpylori can lessen the levodopa affect and may also be responsible for weight lose, as my wife is now below the BMI minimum.Do you know which link he was looking for?

I had also lost a lot of weight- I am below my BMI low end despite efforts to maintain my weight and muscle mass. My doctor has a family member with Parkinson’s and felt that there were only upsides to eradicating it - this was 2020, years before the DSV research had come out. I may have been unfairly dismissive about there being no positive effects from getting rid of my H-Pylori infection. Or it may have come back- I will find out more when the results of my recent micro biome mapping come back

Did we accidentally wipe out dsv when we got rid of h pylori? Maybe our progession has been slower because of this treatment.

Getting rid of H-pylori was a game changer in the effectiveness of c/L medicine for me.
