high dose thiamine (B1) vitamins

I am new to this forum Healthunlocked.. My father in law 70 years old suffering from PD last 4 years and his progression seems fast. We came to know from social sites high dose B1 therapy will fight against PD in recovery or stop progression.(from Dr. Costantini and Daphne Bryan)

Can we try high dose thiamine (B1) vitamins , please let me know if anyone had and how it was useful.. Thanks..
