THCA more effective than CBD?
Well there's not a lot of evidence for CBD doing much of anything, that's mostly hype. Actually, rather more than "mostly." Most assertions such as you're making generally end with the phrase "prove it." The only receptors that any part of the plant affects are called cannabinoid receptors, and CBD is not a cannabinoid, all the substances that affect those receptors are THC related, cannabidiol does nothing for them or to them. Everything else is just salesmanship and marketing for a buck... Actually for many billions of bucks.
Have you tried it? I shattered my ankle (trimaleolar fracture with dislocation) about 2 years ago. This came with a significant pain burden. I was off opioids soon after I got home and substituted with high dose CBD. It worked for me.
I share info that I find interesting and helpful to others. And I like real world experience over opinion.
I suffer from a painful peripheral neuropathy (burning feet), what was the percentage of your ‘high dose’ CBD ?
I use Mercola hemp and black seed oil. One dropper at night. Tastes awful but I sleep! Wake up pain free and I have horrible neuropathy in my feet. Comes back as day wears in but better than nothing.
Hi- I take a THC/CBD/CBN gummie at night to sleep as I have neuropathy in my feet and sleep like a rock. I also used to have monthly vertigo episodes that have been eliminated since I started taking them. 6 months now.
I have SCA3, for 7 years.
I am going to be trying 20 mg CBD (67 mg per dropper) Hope it will help with off time. Start today.
