aspergillosis

recently diagnosed with aspergillosis , a fungus, bacterial infection but have been struggling with pneumonia every few months for 2 years now.

I would appreciate any information anyone has regarding this diagnosis, medications, treatments and outcomes.

I had a bout of Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA) which was cured by taking itraconazole. I continued taking it for several years and finally tried going without and was successful.

thank you so much for your reply. This is very encouraging! It’s taking a long time to clear this infection up but if it’s typical, I feel much better knowing your experience with it!
