I think her attitude that we need to fight this and approach it more unconventionally is just wonderful. Has anyone worked w/her or know more about her plan?

Do you all use the tracking software she mentions? There are many useful followups in her videos.

Thanks

Several members work with or have worked with her. If you search her name in this community you will find many posts that mention her.

Can't help as this is the first time I've heard about Dr Laurie Mischley. What she's doing is very, very interesting and I wonder if anyone is doing anything similar in the UK? I'll check more of her videos. Thanks for posting.

Yes! At least getting everyone onto PRO-PD so they have really large datasets would help!

I live in Canada and see Dr. Mischley remotely. I am not sure she is taking new clients but she has an app lauriemischley.com/pro-pd that is very helpful

Yes, I started using it. I've been going through all her videos. it's great. She is really inspiring about getting and using metrics rigorously. Also her view that nearly everyone can dramatically slow progression is just wonderful.

Can I ask if your symptoms have improved with her input? I find her approach very compelling.

After I was diagnosed, I immediately reached out to Laurie for guidance. That was over 3 years ago. I have been stable ever since, and cut back from 3 sinemet tabs to 2 on the advice of my friends here on HU.

That's great news. I'm really pleased for you. I'm following as much of her nutrition advice as I can, but would love to be one of her clients.

I’m in a similar boat. DXd just over three years ago and been advised by “LKM” in almost the same period. She’s extremely competent and been working with PwP for more than 20 years and undertaken a lot of research in that time (Lithium Orotate…). I follow the regime as best I can. In fact I take more supplements than she recommends. The chart in the presentation starting with Ginko … “might” be helpful. Exercise is critical in slowing progression too. She is a big fan. I see her via zoom.
