Trials dosage is about 1260 milligrams/day. The previous phase experiments determined that this dose, and not less, raised enzyme level enough to become effective is cleaning out toxic clumps. I started Ambroxol at 17/day x 75mg (1275mg) tablets this week. I feel good so far. Hopeful. Fingers crossed. Wish I was in UK so I could participate in the study so this would be free, but it's also good to know I'm not in the placebo group.

the places I ordered from do not ship outside of Poland. However, I did see many listings on madeinindia.com website. Which were cheaper than Polish prices. If I was in the USA, I would try there. Good luck to you and all of us.!

Good Luck, wish you all the best. Take some notes on a daily basis to monitor any changes from the beginning and then compare what happened during the period that you were on them. So at the end, when you decide to stop the experiment it will be easy to see any differences.

I am in the UK and have applied to participate in the stage3 trial for Ambroxol. Not heard back yet and the trial is due to start in May so keeping my fingers crossed will update with any information.

these are online pharmacies in poland. They won’t ship outside of poland, unfortunately.
if I couldn’t buy it here I would’ve bought it from Indian online pharmacies.
one other thought, I see Asian online pharmacies selling ambroxol hcl by the kilogram. This plus a good scale would probably save a lot of money. If I keep this going for several years, I will probably switch to that and measure out the 450 mg at a time.

i would try searching for ambroxol 75mg on Indiamart.com. I have not purchased from the suppliers there, but they seem very responsive and prices are slightly cheaper than Europe.
I bought 1kg on India mart, i am filling capsules with 420mg and taking 3 per day.

If you work out how to source it, please let me know! I'm in the US. By the way, capsule makers are inexpensive and pretty easy to use. I've made B1 capsules for years. But whatever works.
You should adjust your expectations because the phase 3 trial is scheduled to have a 104 weeks treatment period. So you won't necessarily feel better, just not as bad as you would have been if you hadn't taken it. Here's the trial entry - clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show...

It's unnecessary, I took 3x5x75 mg a day for two years. Don't use it.

N = 1, so as we treat other stories of success, we should treat stories of no success. Anecdotal evidence of futility. Thank you for your input, how did you measure success, was any progression considered a failure or were you able to tell your progression is "normal" speed?

At the back of this article I am combining ambroxol with NAD. It was mentioned somewhere in there that the combination might make sense.
Hi All, I had a couple of people ask me how I'm doing. Just about 3.5 months of 1200mg/day. I have had no negative effects that I am aware of. Helping? Maybe know more in a few years as double bind results come in. I feel fine.
