Is there diference between Levedopa brands in terms of symptom releaf? Can one more effective vs other?

My husband gets Madopar, but not really effective. Everyone is talking about honey moon of first years but it is a nightmare. Some minor imprivement in stifness and walking but tremor is stronger. Does anyone experienced that switching to another levedopa brand imprived the symptoms more effectively? Does thr brand metter?

In order to get helpful suggestions to improve his condition, I suggest posting timing and quantity of his medications, and timing of his symptoms. Getting Improvement is often possible but we need more detail in order to help.

If you are referring to generic C/L, not all are the same as brand name Sinmet was. Even within a generic batch from the same manufacturer, t here could be slight differences, in my experience, when Merck took Sinimet (brand carbidioa/levodopa) iff the market w/o notice, I was forced to try different generic companies,. Brand Sinimet was the best, when i had to switch to generic, it was not as good in terms of efficacy

If he has even a small improvement then his dose is too small. Both madopar and sinemet are similar.

I have found that there is a difference in the generic c/lbrands. None of them are as good as sinemet was,! So far we like sciegen.
