I have been experiencing something a little similar and didn't know if it was associated with PD or something else. My gums under my tongue and front lower lip feel like I ate too much salt or a lemon and feel like they are shriveled, if that makes sense. I have asked a regular Dr. and a dentist, they have no clue. Let me know if you figure out anything and I will do the same.

hi! That sounds like same! PD dr said it is dyskinesia. Suggested Botox injections. Anyone tried that? Also my dentist suggested Botox too. Haven’t tried it yet

After a couple of doses of C/L and entacapone, my mouth is so dry that it is painful. My tongue is covered in white film that I can scrub off with a toothbrush. I use an antiseptic mouthwash and that seems to help a bit (for an hour or two). The "real" problem seems to be that the saliva glands in my cheeks stop working. They work fine in the AM but not from noon to bedtime. My mouth puckers as a result and I look like a fish...this has progressed from an occasional to daily occurrence. I also have TMJ and have noticed recent worsening of symptoms resulting in shifting teeth. My dentist has recommended a night guard...my neuro says it is "a little dyskinesia."....

Have you investigated the B1 protocol or the infrared and near infrared coronet? b

Botox is used for incontinence too.

Alan couldn’t have it done in the end because he’s had 3 episodes of delirium in the last twelve months and apparently anaesthetics are not a good idea, as they might trigger another episode. The urologist said there’s a 60% success rate.

I had that problem when my doctor put me on Paxil. I weaned myself off of Paxil and the jaw clenching went away.
