Is your diet sabotaging your HDT therapy? Diet and antinutrients play a role in neurodegenerative disease processes.

Should you take B1 or Benfotamine or both?

Iโ€™m desperately trying to dial in a B1 dose that helps

I meant to reply to you, I got sidetracked. I'd start small and titrate up on B1. Dr. Berg's video gives advice on how to dose benfotamine. Peace ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Thiamine is present in the diet in microscopic quantities โ€“ fractions of a milligram. See here for detail: image3.slideserve.com/70823... What might deplete fractions of a milligram is not about to deplete hundreds of milligrams. So no worries on this account for participants in the high-dose thiamine regimen.

Regarding the video, I was highly skeptical of Dr. Berg's mention that the Gardasil vaccine can deplete thiamine. However there is some evidence to support this: dialogue2.ca/derrick-lonsda... This is actually good news because that means the problems attributed to the Gardasil vaccine can be easily fixed.

Dr. Berg claimed that Gardasil vaccine was taken off the market, which is wrong and defamatory. Gardasil prevents some really nasty cancers: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gardasil

"The HPV strains that Gardasil protects against are sexually transmitted, specifically HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18. HPV types 16 and 18 cause an estimated 70% of cervical cancers, and are responsible for most HPV-induced anal, vulvar, vaginal, and penile cancer cases. HPV types 6 and 11 cause an estimated 90% of genital warts cases. HPV type 16 is responsible for almost 90% of HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancers, and the prevalence is higher in males than females. "

Can we stay on topic please? You seem to have an axe to grind. Diet and antinutrients play a bigger role in disease processes than you're willing to concede yet you don't disagree with B1 supplementation.

The more important question is, why not try B1 and Benfotamine together?

I'm not a doctor - are you PB? I presented information for consideration, we're all biohacking because conventional medicine has given us limited and in my case no alternative. You're free to do whatever you want to your body but don't devolve into a vaccine rant on my post.

I am responding to information that you posted. If you do not like your postings to be refuted I suggest you exercise better judgment in the information you choose to present.

You mischaracterize my prior comment. I did not deny the possibility of diet playing a role in disease. I merely stated that what might interfere with micrograms of vitamin B1 is unlikely to interfere with doses hundreds of times greater.

Also, Benfotamine is a form of vitamin B1. I presume you actually intended to refer to Benfotamine and thiamine HCL. I might just try these two together. Nothing in your original post speaks to this idea.

Yes, I was referring to thiamine HCL when I said B1 - that's what it's called. Benfotamine is not referred to as B1. You're nitpicking and don't like to be called out on bad behavior. There was nothing wrong with my post. Stop it already.

The only bad behaviour here is yours. This is not the first time that someone has thoughtfully engaged with a topic you have posted only then to be falsely accused of harrassment, bullying or some other form of unpleasant treatment simply becuase you've decided that anything less than a standing applause from the entire audience constitues abuse or misstreatment.

Right on que, of course you add nothing meaningful to the post except to describe yourself.

Thank you for this response, ParkBear. Your postings are always informative, balanced and helpful. I appreciate your time and willingness to share such important information.

PD is multifactorial and the therapy should be too - monotherapy with a high dose of a single supplement is unlikely to achieve complete healing, particularly in the context of an unhealthy lifestyle.

I wrote a post a couple years ago about why you can't supplement yourself to good health. A lot of good people on this site found it enlightening.

I have no axe to grind. I joined this forum to benefit from and occasionally to contribute to the balanced, considered and informed discussion and exchange of information designed to assist us all with a single goal - relief from the rigours of PD. I would like to continue to be able to consider opposing points of view with any corrections or additions that enable me to reach the the right conclusion and untainted by irrelevant personalisation please. "We all have to feel we can post facts without personal castigation"

Was Park Bear's comment a fact or largely an opinion on vaccines that he wanted to promote; and what does it have to do with treating PD with Thiamine HCl and Benfotamine? Nothing.

My post is novel in that a medical doctor suggested a combination of B1 AND Benfotamine.

There has been a lot of discussion about HDT therapy, and it's come to light that some people don't convert B1 (thiamine) effectively. Benfotamine is a fat soluble derivative of B1 that is more bio-available.

My message got lost in the noise created by PARK BEAR who decided to take issue with the vaccine reference in the video and KEVOWPD who never misses an opportunity to gang up. Misogyny much?

Calling out habitual bad behavior and setting boundaries is not castigation. I've asked admin to review their comments. I will continue to report people who violate the guidelines.

I do not tolerate abuse from anyone - whether or not others agree with me.

I will continue to comment as I see fit. I will not be deterred by your playacting at victimhood.

Funny, I asked that question on another post. Why not take both forms, B1 (HCL) and Benfo? Worth trying.

And now there's a medical opinion to back it up ๐Ÿ™‚
