I was on Artane [Trihexyphenidyl ] for stiffness and within 2 weeks of taking it I had severe hallucinations , I thought the doctor would of decreased my dosage , but she increased it. I really wish I did not do that. It was a mistake and it took some time to get over it.

how much dose are you taking

Started taking 1 mg and my doctor increased to 2 mg twice daily

better keep it 1 mg twice daily. This medicine causes memory problems at higher dose. It also causes severe dryness of mouth and eyes. What relief in pd symptoms are you getting from it?

I am happy to say that im not taking it anymore. It really did more bad then good for me .

I am on 2mg x 3 per day , but I have read somany bad things about it that i rarely take more than one per day

it helps calm down tremor , but it makes me feel like being sick

apparently its an abused drug in some countries ..... eeeuuuugghghh

I would not take that drug again if they paid me. I had hallucinations so bad, it scared me. Maybe some people like that, but not me.

well, I SHOULD take alomgside those pramipaxole , leva dopaa / snmet 25/100 3x daily and rasagali ne , but i have had dbs , and they are switching it on , on thhursday :))

Good luck. I have the most benifit from pramepexole amd carbodopa/levadopa.
