zonisamide for parkinson's

There are many articles available on the subject. Recently I came across a fresh article regarding this epilepsy drug use for PD. According to the article it significantly reduces the off-time and also results in the improvement of overall UPDRS score

I was wondering that this drug (discovered in 1970 in Japan) is much less discussed on this forum. I have read only one post from the forum member Becky mentioning the use of this medicine. Anyone else who have used it and want to share his/her experience?

Zonisamide may cause serious allergic reactions called drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) or multiorgan hypersensitivity, which may damage the liver, kidney, blood, heart, or muscles.
