In a randomized controlled double-blind trial this herbal combination was found to be almost as good as prednisone for asthma:

Available as Phytocort at Amazon:

It might also be helpful to have some more details about your situation.

I have Parkinson’s and had DBS, which addresses tremors and freezing of gait, but my pain seems to stem from inflammation. ANY suggestions would be appreciated.

Bolt, impeccable timing as ever. I’ve been on umPEA for months as a result of one of your earlier posts. I’ve been trawling thru the published studies again and as a result ordered a box of luteolin late last night. Based upon the same conclusion as you. I know it’s only n=1 but I’ve been able to cut my C/L dose down by 33% amongst a raft of other positive things. That’s just on the umPEA without the luteolin. Can’t wait for the box to arrive. Best.

That is AWESOME! Thank you for sharing. UM PEA is on my Mount Rushmore of protocol options.

ultra-micronized palmitoylethanolamide.

If you search for the last word of the compound on this site there’s been plenty posted the last few months. You should find lots to wade thru. I don’t want to keep reposting stuff.

I use the Normast brand. It seems to help me a lot but I’m not a medical doctor and everybody’s PD seems wildly different. Please dig into the research to see if you think it might be worth trialling. It isn’t cheap, I fact it’s one of the most expensive supplements I take.

thank you. I’m new to the site and new to PD. I’ll check it out.

Hi Bolt,

Thanks for the update on PEA. I cannot open our chat window at all so I am not ignoring you😂

Taurine was helping my husband’s afib nicely for 2 weeks then he forgot to take his meds and it’s a rollercoaster again.

For PEA Does it mean that the non micronised is useless? As it is, swallowing so many capsules is a torture and no point adding non micronised if it cannot be absorbed.

Can I ask how is CC? Haven’t read any posts and wondering how she is doing. Anyone? Both CC and I ordered the same PEA with luteolin. Frankly I cannot tell the difference but my husband needs it more now that we have discovered he is gluten intolerant. Gluten is so toxic

For PEA there is regular PEA, Micronized PEA, and Ultra-Micronized PEA. They say that UM is the best for absorption. I feel okay about my micronized with leutolin. My UM is a powder, so that is very easy to use. Level half teaspoon is about 600 mg. amazon.com/gp/product/B07NJ...

I put the UM PEA in my peanut butter snack.

I was mixing um-pea into hubby’s porridge in the mornings and didn’t notice any improvement or problem when it ran out. So not sure if it did anything for him and it was expensive.

You could try giving up sugar and gluten and any vegetable oils except olive oil, fried foods and any additives if you haven’t already.

Most helpful thing he takes is Hardys daily essential nutrients with added vitamers. This makes a noticeable difference at the clinical dose of 12 capsules per day.

What do you mean by that? Does something hurt? Are you swollen? Suffering from leg/belly cramps? Be specific. Parkinson's by definition is probably an inflammatory disease of the brain, but there are a lot of specific issues that might have different helpful solutions.

I have similar questions; NSIDS, did you mean NSAIDS? Have you tried tylenol? NSAIDS means non-steroidal anti-inflammation drugs. Tylenol is not an NSAID. Neither is curcumin or fish oil. Have you tried those?
