I came across this review:"First time I used it I took a nap shortly after. Have given this to a family member in hospital with a 12 score out of 30 on cognitive test. 3 months later 28 out of 30. It was part from the lions mane as well as reduction of prescription medication.

Second family member has dementia stuck in a 3 minute loop at start 2 months in and they are reckonizing some people again and now can talk on more subjects for up to 10 minutes. Glad we can buy this in canada now was getting from usa before"

I have been thinking to grow it for awhile...then dehydrate and use. Ireland should be good for growing mushrooms

My husband takes it. He has Parkinson's but does not have cognitive issues. We have no idea if it is helpful but maybe it could prevent these from happening

Hi Adopt. Lions Mane mushrooms have been part of my supplements stack for quite a while (together with Reishi mushrooms).I do many things to manage my symptoms so it is difficult to attribute benefits to a single thing in particular but there is quite a bit of encouraging research on their potential benefits and I intend to continue using them.

Agree with Michel. I take the LM in the morning and the Reishi an hour before bed. Not sure if doing any good. My mild cognitive impairment continues. It doesn’t seem worse mind. So there’s that!

great thank you. Have not researched the Reishi mushrooms. Just curios, is there a probiotic you take? I have heard certain strains are more helpful potentially.

Hello. I am having good results with Symprove (a UK liquid probiotic).

Hi Michel - What kind of good results associated with Parkinson's symptoms you are seeing/experiencing with the use of Symprove probiotic? Thanks!

Hi AlBravo. Regular bowel movements is the main benefit. The link to other PD symptoms is difficult to establish but we all know the importance of gut health so I am confident that it plays a part.

I've been using Lions Mane extract in my tea every morning for 3 months now, and I definitely can tell a difference. My cognition and memory are much sharper. I also take Bacopa each morning. So, could be a combination effect.

Thank you so much can I ask you how much you take or how much you took when you started?

I take 1 gram (a small scoop) of lions mane powder in my tea every morning. Can't taste it all but prior to starting I was cognitively very sluggish. I can def feel a difference. I use this form of Lions' mane amazon.com/Organic-Lions-Mu...

I also take 2 capsules a day of Bacopa (bacomind on amazon).

I have been using LM for about 3 months now. I don't really notice a difference. Therefore, when current pot is empty, I am going to stop. I know people who do notice a difference. If I stop and notice a difference I will let you know.
