Hi. I am using CBD now, it has been a week, no change so far. Please comment. I am by the way sublingually ingesting 3 droppers every 4 hours, 60 mg per dropper.

If you have better options than CBD please share. Thank you.

That seems like a large dose. That being said I don't think 1 week is enough time to gauge the effect. It may be subtle and progress the longer you take it. So, how do you know it is essential tremor? I was (mis)diagnosed with essential tremor for a couple of years before my (correct) Parkinson's diagnosis.

Not 3 droppers 3 times per day, rather 1 dropper 3 times per day. My bad for not being clearer.

After how long more or less effects start to manifest?

I consulted with 3 different neurologists, they all confirmed it was ET.

With something like this it could take a month or more to manifest changes. I took CBD for several months and never really noted any changes You may be different.

My partner who has had PD for about 13 years tried a CBD oil but it didn't work for her. About 10 months ago, she switched to a high THC oil (.9ml twice per day) which is quite effective.

That seems like a very high dose. Is it giving you any side effects? Most commonly as you would feel “slow”. All CBDs are not the same. I’m not sure where you live but I would definitely go to a dispensary and talk to someone there. I live in Colorado so we have very high level dispensaries. These guys really know a lot. I have Had essential tremor all of my life and now also have Parkinson’s. (Apparently if you have essential tremor you have 30% chance increase to get Parkinsons ). I take the CBD at night before I go to bed and it really helps a lot with muscle spasms and aching. With one type of CBD I take 15 mg tabs. With another type that is a tincture I only take five. It should be noted that they’re over 350 ingredients in CBD. Also if your CBD has a very tiny bit of THC in it it is much more effective. The chemicals in CBD are not just singular but work and concert, that means the combinations are endless. The best thing about cannabinoids is there are no receptors in your brain stem. In Other words ,you will never stop breathing on your heart won’t stop. But be patient with dosing because it can take a while a while to go into effect and if you overdose it’s not very much fun how you feel. However I have not noticed anything different with tremor. Propanolol helps the most for that. I take 80mg ext release. I hope this helps. I have an anesthesia background and now lecture about CBD because even my own colleagues don’t understand it.

Propanolol, not something I wish to use but what are the side effects of it?

The CBD I am taking is 60mg per dropper as stated above, 3 droppers per day, it has .3% of THC. Your input on it? Thank you

It will not work unless it has THC in it
