45 minute sessions of simulated high altitude periodically at the test site. I question whether that will be enough to effectively test high altitude, It takes the body a while to produce enough additional red blood cells to compensate for the lower oxygen.

I lived i Wyoming for 35 years. Average altitude in the state is 6500ft above sea level. I did most of my training runs at 10,000ft or higher. So why didn't that protect me from PD?

I think you are only protect while at that 10,000 foot altitude (if at all). So maybe we all have to move to Alma and stay.
