I about milk these days because I get a lot of phlegm when I drink. Yoghurt Burns my throat. What is it about these milk products? I tried the grass fed core yogurt, and I still got that burning feeling in my throat.

Yikes!! I can't even estimate the sheer volume of low-fat yogurt that's gone down my gullet. Would that I could take it all back. It remains a staple in my diet. Sheesh.

The operative words for this study are "modest increased risk", namely HR = 1.34. Low fat dairy is not necessarily a cause of PD. It could be that the absence of some nutrient in butterfat increases risk.

Is regular milk the answer?

Nina Teicholz's book "THE BIG FAT SURPRISE: Why Butter, Meat &

Cheese Belong in a Healthy Diet" is well worth reading, based on

thorough research and numerous citations.

Beckey,

A sentence in the AAN summary merits attention. "The overall conclusions from these studies was that frequent consumption

of dairy products was associated with a modest increased risk of

Parkinson’s disease."

Your PD may or may not have had low-fat milk as an etiologically significant factor.
