Who has experience with Light therapy with low intensity lasers in Parkinson in Europe?

I heard about Australian success stories.

Hi I’ve used the laser and helmet for just over a year. I believe they help me with energy, dexterity, gait and sleep. I take some supplements too and exercise a lot so think it’s all a combination.

Is it laser or red light therapy. One person has commented on the coronet, I believe the name of the hat is with red light therapy having great results for him. My husband, Sloboy, had DBS surgery in 2010 and should not use on the wires. Wish he could for DBS helps him with grip and at first for quite a few years but it’sadvancing now beyond what DBS can do. It did not correct sliding feet if you already have it before the surgery FYI

Thanks. I heard about white low intensity lasers you apply on your belly and head to activate mitochondrial energy production in cells and increase dopamine production. This seems to be a different therapy from the light helmets.

There is a company named SYMBYX that makes both devices, one to apply on the belly and one to apply on the back of the head, (Duo Care 904 and Neuro helmet respectively.

its laser at 904 nanometers and backed by published research …. not red light. would not buy anything on amazon for PD as some members have mentioned. The research is n BMc Neurology journal last year…

Hi Sloboy. I understand that Coronet is a helmet with red /near infra red light LED emiting diods, while for example, Symbyx Neuro is a helmet with red/ infra red Laser LED emitingdiods.

Difference between ligh LEDs and laser LEDs is coeherence,

Light LEDs emit light whose photons are not "aligned" so to speak and cover a wider area. Laser LEDs emit coherent light that has "aligned" photons and has deeper penetration on the tissues.

Hope this helps

Thanks. Good to hear. Is the purchase covered by health insurance or to be paid by the patient?

Hi. Not covered by insurance here in France, no. Paid out of pocket.

lots about symbyx laser here. its infrared (invisible blue light) and applied to your stomach… has amazing results in trials… youtu.be/2kOydEXxJj8

Just a clarification STMBYX devices work with red-near infared laser light, not invisible blue . The blue-green light you see on the handheld device only indicates that the device is working..

Best regards
