Welcome. Lots of good information. As always, do your own homework, though.

What prompted you to join?

Hi❤️ Welcome! PWP need all the help we can get! You’ll find a lot of good ideas and great support here. It’s not an easy journey, but..YOU CAN DO THIS! (That is my mantra now). The first book I read that REALLY helped me in my journey was John Pepper’s book, Reverse Parkinson’s Disease. He is a member of this support group. He gave me much comfort and hope after my diagnosis in early 2015. I am doing pretty well...and taking no PD meds because of adverse reactions to them. Best wishes to YOU! 👍

Linda, Do you know about "Every Victory Counts" (How to live well with Parkinson's) by the Davis Phinney Foundation? This manual has in depth information about exercise, nutrition, emotional health, medication, therapies and more. It is free and also inspirational.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Excellent manual with loads of resources. I downloaded and started reading yesterday. I'm glancing through each page - up to page 85. There are about 380 some odd pages. Best material I've seen! They even offer to send a free copy to your doctor!!!

Husband and I did 10 minutes worth of exercises yesterday. Will do again tomorrow. He's busy with other tasks today.

So glad you like it. I found the worksheets in the last section very practical and useful. I gave my dentist the one about Parkinson's and Dentistry.

Hi, I'm looking at your information now - in particular about dopamine. Want to wean my husband off of getting the IV glutathione. One because of the cost. Two don't want to be on long-term just wanted this to be a boost for him. That is working.

Glad to meet you.
