The difficulty with PEMF – its effect is dependent upon the characteristics of the field at the relevant areas of the brain. That field is extremely sensitive to the configuration of the device that is used to generate it – the positions and windings of the coils, plus the waveform that is used to energize the coils. In the studies that I have seen these items were not described in sufficient detail to be able to reproduce them accurately.

I have also seen anecdotal reports on commercially available devices that are marketed for many thousands of dollars - devices whose cost to manufacture is in the hundreds of dollars. So they are being sold at exorbitant prices. Once again, the essential characteristics of these devices are not disclosed.

I don’t know if any reason other than shady business practice that they wouldn’t disclose more. Is it not patentable? But I am still intrigued that it is useful for TBI , strokes and cancer.

What really gives me hope is oddly enough that it is used in pets and horses. No placebo in a horses response?

I cannot speak to motivation but I have yet to see sufficient disclosure to enable accurate reproduction.

Agree no placebo effect in animals.

I purchased a PEMF Bemer product and used it for daily for 2 yrs or so. It cost about $2,500. Anyone want to buy it? (LOL ...understand what I am saying?)

What is the output? It is very low on the Bemer I believe.
