Unfortunately this study utilized pretreatment which is not a valid model of Parkinson's. In actual Parkinson's the toxic insult is long gone by the time we get around to treating it. There are any number of ways a treatment may interfere with the action of the toxicant that no longer apply once the toxicant is gone.

"10 days pretreatment with CJ and 35 days combined treatment with CJ and ROT [rotenone]."

Don't disagree, PD did not happen overnight. But, keeping near par with constant exposure to a pesticide (I say) speaks highly of the results.

Depends on the specific pesticide too though. Which pesticide and 8n what manner, & for how long and how long has it been since, and how long between exposure and onset of symptoms? What is age of symptom onset?

Not on this evidence, at any rate, for Parkinson's.

Paid for by cranberry industry.

But still might have some validity.

I thought elderberries , blueberries and pomegranates are better than cranberries but perhaps not

See my comment at that posting - another invalid study. Sigh.

Does not mean there is anything wrong with cranberries. Just that the studies fail to demonstrate benefit.

I believe this highlights the importance of Polyphenols and Polyphenol and not so much that Cranberries are the best source.
