How to make Sulforaphane (Broccoli) at home

This article is full of practical advice on making sulforaphane! To me, it is reinforcing my belief that broccoli and daikon sprout smoothies are a good method. epiphanyasd.blogspot.com/20...

It looks like I should be aiming for about 40 grams of sprouts a day. Searching the web I could not find consistent information on grams to cups for broccoli sprouts. One site said 56 grams per cup, another said 91 grams per cup. I have a scale :)

Thank you so much Bolt. I'm wondering would that be to consume about 2 cups per day of sprouts? I have started using your sprouting method of 2 TBS broccoli seeds and 1 TBS daikon radish seeds in a 1 qt. mason jar.

So I got my scale out and weighed what I usually put in my smoothie. I lightly pushed it down in the cup, not so it was compressed but just so it was level, and it came to 1 cup and weighed 42 grams. Now this is 2/3 broccoli sprouts and 1/3 radish sprouts, so I guess I am only getting 28 grams of broccoli sprouts a day. Even though the radish sprouts bring their own benefits, I think I will take the total spouts up to 1.5 cups a day.

Thank you so much. The sprouts look beautifully alive and vibrant. Also, I have started adding 1/2 tsp oil to my broccoli seed tea as per Wriga's advice to make it more bioavailable. He suggested coconut oil but I've added olive instead because I don't like the taste of coconut oil.
