Dear All, Is there a good rollator which you could recommend for a PD patient based in Pune, India. Which brand is the best? Has anyone come across a PD patient who has used a rollator? Is it effective? Please refer to the image attached for the product

Don’t know if it’s available in India but you might check out the UStep2. It was specifically designed for Parkinsons and neurological conditions. It’s a bit heavier/more steady and has tighter turning radius than basic rollator. Also had reverse braking (must squeeze to go) so that if your feet get stuck/stop moving, theWalker doesn’t just keep rolling or cause you to fall forward. It also has an optional laser line (helps to try to “step” on it to promote walking) and a metronome type clicker to keep pace to. Also available in the higher “upright” version.
My husband received an improved Rollator -there are secondary brakes on the back wheels in order to slow you down when walking. He is encouraged to walk upright and keeps the walker closer to him.
Hi Anon it is available in Pune bought for my wife but the height adjustment is an issue in it otherwise if patient health condition will dictate its usage
