Hypothesis In the present trial, it is being tested if supplementing PMA-zeolite can lead to an improvement of the defined markers and parameters (reduction of local and systemic inflammation, changes of the microbiota in the gut, positive detoxifying effect and general improvement of quality of life) in patients with uncontrolled CD compared to a healthy test-group.
Zeolite trial for IBS: ichgcp.net/clinical-trials-...
Conclusion: Potentiated clinoptilolite shows clinical benefit, and should be tested further in larger clinical trials. In addition, potentiated clinoptilolite also shows reduced symptoms of IBD-D and IBS-M respectively. It is recommended that clinical response
to dose variation should also be further investigated in designated populations of IBS-M and IBS-D patients.
Effects of zeolite supplementation on parameters of intestinal barrier integrity, inflammation, redoxbiology and performance in aerobically trained subjects
jissn.biomedcentral.com/art...
Conclusions
Twelve weeks of zeolite supplementation exerted beneficial effects on intestinal wall integrity as indicated via decreased concentrations of the tight junction modulator zonulin. This was accompanied by mild anti-inflammatory effects in this cohort of aerobically trained subjects. Further research is needed to explore mechanistic explanations for the observations in this study.
Treatment
The subjects randomized to zeolite-clinoptilolite (n = 28) received boxes with capsules containing (per capsule): Zeolite 307,50 mg, Dolomite 75,17 mg (thereof Magnesium 15,79 mg; Calcium 34,9 mg), Maca 27,33 mg, Cellulose 90 mg (PANACEO SPORT®, Panaceo International Active Mineral Production GmbH, Villach, Austria). All subjects were instructed to take 6 capsules per day, 3 capsules in the morning with breakfast and the other 3 capsules with the last meal of the day throughout 12 weeks.

My husband took a 3 month course of toxaprevent earlier in the the year. Although there was no immediate improvement he didn’t get worse over winter like he normally would (May , June , July) and he made a steady improvement and then at the end of that period he started a few new supplements (healthunlocked.com/cure-par... and has been much better than he has been for years since then.
It could be the toxaprevent cleared some infection or toxin? Or it might have been the new supplements. Anyway the toxaprevent certainly hasn’t made him worse. And I think if only taken for a fixed time period like he did even if it has some adverse effects the clearing of a toxin or infection might still out weigh the bad effect.
