Blocking the Bach1 protein is the flip side of activating NRF2. It accomplishes the same goal. Lots of stuff in this article.

Bolt (or anyone). I'm not good at reading a lot of studies, they are usually long and I get more confused the more I read. I appreciate the people who summarize things. The question is... they do thousands of studies with mice but they rarely work for humans. What's the deal? I'm sure there's a thousand answers, and opinions, for this. If anyone wants to give their remarks on this subject I would appreciate it. 🥊

Good question laglag. I think there are a number of reasons:

1: As park_bear points out often, most animal models of PD are not good models of PD. They do things to mice that simulate PD symptoms, but not the pathology of PD.

2: Mice are not humans. What works for one does not work for the other.
